"Before I worked for VoA, I used to work as a cashier for an organization. However through this job I wasn’t spending enough time with my family. After that I decided to become a stay at home mom for several years. I was able to gain a better relationship with my kids and I will never take that for granted. Once my kids were old enough to not need a constant mother around, I decided to go back on the job hunt. VoA gave me the opportunity to understand how entrepreneurship works. Through this I was able to gain more confidence in myself. I now get my own salary based on what I make. My kids come visit me all the time and they always tell me that they are proud of me and what I’ve made. Hearing this makes it all worth it. In my life, I have gone through a lot, but no matter how much money you make, or who you work for, the most important thing is love. Through my experience at VoA I have become a better person. All in all, for the future I see myself developing my skill at VoA and continue to work as hard. Since I am also a supervisor for the organization, I will continue to look into what is best for VoA.”
