This study concluded that an Acacia Gum arabic mixture of Acacia senegal and Acacia Seyal as an additive to WHO-ORS reduces the duration of diarrhoea and hospital stay. It decreases diarrhoea complications and facilitates regaining weight. It has a prebiotic effect in prevention of diarrhoea. All these indicate its potential as a new antidiarrheal therapy for acute diarrhoea in children.

In conclusion, this study resulted in Gum arabic users with kidney problems having increased 24-h creatinine clearance (from 283 +/- 35 to 382 +/- 40 muL/min [SEM]) and urinary antidiuretic hormone excretion, and decreased daily urine output (from 1.8 +/- 0.2 to 1.2 +/- 0.1 mL/24 h) as well as the urinary excretion of Na(+) (from 226 +/- 22 to 196 +/- 19 mumol/24 h). In conclusion, treatment with GA resulted in moderate but significant increases of creatinine clearance and altered electrolyte excretion, i.e., effects favorable in renal insufficiency.

In conclusion, this study suggests that GUM is a prebiotic fibre, as it was able to selectively raise the proportions of lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria in healthy subjects. It was fermented slowly, produced shortchain fatty acids, and its faecal digestibility was around 95%. As in the case of other soluble dietary fibres, it increased stool output by augmenting the water content of stools. In addition, its intestinal tolerance appeared to be excellent and high daily doses could be consumed without inducing any adverse intestinal events. Thanks to all these properties, GUM may improve intestinal well-being and health

This scientific research outlines a summary of the research that was one regarding Gum Arabic effects on people with Anemia. Conclusion is Supplementing the diet of CKD patients with 10–40 g/day of GA had no demonstrable effect on BUN and IS levels. Nevertheless, GA supplementation was associated with a significant reduction in CRP level. This could have a positive impact on the long-term morbidity and mortality of this patient population.
