Last week we hosted our Health Fair & Field Day, and we had an amazing time! 💥 From fun activities to valuable health and wellness resources, there was truly something for everyone — students and parents alike.

A huge thank you to all of our incredible community partners who came out to support, encourage, and promote health and wellness throughout our community.

We also want to give a special thank you to our Health & Nutrition Manager, Ashley Willis, for putting together such a successful and impactful event. We appreciate everyone who helped make the day so memorable! 💚

Yesterday was Earth Day and celebrated the 56th anniversary of the environmental movement with the theme “Our Power, Our Planet.” 🌎

This year’s theme highlighted the importance of individual and community efforts to support renewable energy. Our students joined in by helping care for the trees on our school grounds.

This week, we celebrated the Week of the Young Child, and it was filled with so much fun and creativity! Each day brought something special:

Join us on May 2nd as our CEO will be the Keynote Speaker at Minnie H. Peyton Community Center’s Mother’s Day brunch!

The theme is Brunch Under the Brim so grab your favorite hat and come and enjoy a wonderful time celebrating mothers!

During CACFP Week at Higher Horizons, our children enjoyed a fun and educational hands-on experience exploring healthy foods! They watched smoothies being prepared while learning about measurements, ingredients, and how different textures come together.

The excitement continued as they created their own colorful fruit bowls, discovering a variety of fruits and identifying vibrant colors along the way.

This engaging activity helped build early math, science, and language skills while encouraging healthy eating habits in a joyful, interactive environment.
