Mahjong Bootcamp is back!
Our first Bootcamp was such a success, we’re saddling up for another round!
Join us Sunday, June 14th, from 10:30–2:00 at the TTTM Studio and wrangle up some Mahjong skills. This class starts with a focused two hour hands on Mahjong 101 class, break at high noon for a Tex-Mex lunch, then return for one hour of guided play with instructor support. Expect hands-on coaching, strategy tips, and real table experience in a single extended session.

Fourth line in the 13579 section, aka the “floating pair” line on the 2026 NMJL card.

You have FIVE ways to make this line work. Whatever pair you choose (can be a pair of 1,3,5,7,or 9s), your kongs (4 of the same tile) must match that pair.
Example: if your pair is 11, both kongs must also be 1111. If your pair is 99, both kongs need to be 9999. That line would look like this:
135799 9999 9999
If the kongs don’t match the pair, that’s what we call a “fauxjong.” Aka, a dead hand.

Submit by Labor Day to be considered for next year’s card.
4. 🏆 Then wait…
When the new card arrives, open it like it’s an envelope at the Emmys — and see if your line made it! 🎉
