Roshd Academy is a private, non-political, educational institution that was formed by a group of professionals from a wide range of backgrounds. Roshd is not affiliated with any other organization or institution. It has been formed with the simple goal of satisfying the educational needs of our children that are not fulfilled through their standard weekly education. At Roshd, we believe it is important to supplement our children’s weekly education with second language and moral/ethical classes. The educational program at Roshd Academy is both culturally enriching and enjoyable. Because most schools do not provide Farsi, Arabic, and Urdu as a second language option, our goal is to offer these subjects in order for our children to have a well-rounded education by learning their cultural and linguistic heritage. We are looking to the future and expanding our language courses to include French, German, Spanish, and English as a second language. These classes will begin in Fall 2015.
