At Metaphor, our students’ progress is at the heart of everything we do. Throughout the year, we create opportunities for every child to learn, grow, and feel proud of what they accomplish.

At our end-of-year awards ceremony, we presented special certificates to students who earned the highest scores in individual subjects. We’re proud to celebrate their hard work and dedication!

But progress takes many forms. A better grade, a challenging topic finally understood, or the confidence to speak up in class can all represent an important achievement. Every student has made progress, and every child deserves recognition for growing at their own pace.

As we begin a new school year, these photos remind us of how much lies ahead. New goals, new discoveries, and perhaps a certificate with your name on it at our next ceremony. 💛

That’s a wrap on our Elementary Summer Concert! ✨

The performance was a celebration of the creativity, confidence, and teamwork our students developed as they prepared songs, dances, and performances with their teachers.

From the excitement before the curtain rose to the final applause, our students filled the stage with energy and joy while sharing this special moment with their families.

Can a game of chess shape the way a child thinks?

Absolutely.

Every game of chess challenges children to think ahead, recognize patterns, solve problems, and make thoughtful decisions under pressure.

But the greatest lesson goes beyond the chessboard.

Children learn patience, resilience, strategic thinking, and the confidence to approach challenges one move at a time. They begin to understand that mistakes are opportunities to learn, and that every decision matters.

At Metaphor, chess is more than an extracurricular activity.

Together with our bilingual curriculum, it helps develop curious, adaptable, and confident thinkers who are prepared to succeed—in the classroom and beyond.

We couldn’t wait to look through these photos… and honestly, choosing just a few from everything we captured over the past two weeks felt almost impossible. These first two weeks of Summer Camp were filled with laughter, friendships, discoveries, and so many games that our campers truly had the chance to relax, recharge, and celebrate the start of their summer after a busy school year. The memories we’ve created together will stay with us for a long time, and this is only the beginning. Session One has set the bar high, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store.
