Available at no cost to IAEM-USA members, the EM1 Library puts emergency management plans, doctrine, policies, procedures, guidance and after-action reports in one searchable collection.

Use the EM1 Assistant to ask questions in plain language, dig into source documents and find information you can put to work. Members can also contribute plans and reports to help grow the shared repository.

When you're ready to start exploring the EM1 Library, log in to the IAEM Portal, select “Special Offers,” and follow the instructions to access the library. You must be logged in to the IAEM Portal to see the “Special Offers” tab.

Today, we remember and honor the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

We remember the lives lost, the first responders and members of the military who answered the call, the families and communities forever changed, and the many people who came together in the days that followed.

Twenty-five years later, that day's impact continues to shape emergency management and how we prepare, respond, and recover.

In this reflection, members of the emergency management community share what they carry forward from September 11 and what they hope today’s emergency managers will remember. Their experiences remind us that emergency management is about more than preparing for the next disaster. It is about people, community, and the commitment to be ready when the unimaginable happens.

IAEM’s Charting a Course to Long Beach brings both members and non-members together for a virtual fitness, wellness, and networking challenge, with participation supporting the IAEM Scholarship Program.

Bring your colleagues or friends, build a team of up to eight, or sign up on your own, and we’ll place you on a team. No matter where you are or what your fitness level is, there’s a place for you in the challenge. You also don’t need to attend the IAEM Annual Conference to take part.

Planning the IAEM Annual Conference is a year-round effort that brings together education, professional development, networking, and the people who make it all happen.

The IAEM-USA Conference Committee plays an important role in that work, helping shape the conference program and coordinate everything from topics and schedules to speakers, training, seminars, and networking opportunities.

The committee is especially proud to help educate thousands of emergency managers each year through the IAEM Annual Conference.

For IAEM members interested in contributing to one of the profession's largest gatherings, the Conference Committee offers a chance to help shape the educational and networking experiences that bring emergency managers together each year. New members can join during the annual open enrollment period following the Annual Conference through December.
