Mission: Educating, empowering and connection stakeholders in common interest communities CAI is a 30,000-member association dedicated to building better communities. Working in partnership with 60 chapters, one international chapter and housing leaders in other nations, CAI provides information, education and resources to associations and the professionals who support them. Our mission is to inspire professionalism, effective leadership and responsible citizenship, ideals reflected in communities that are preferred places to call home. Washington Metropolitan Chapter is one of 60 chapters of Community Associations Institute (CAI). Washington Metropolitan Chapter Community Associations Institute (WMCCAI) serves the educational, business, and networking needs of the community association industry parts of Maryland and Virginia and the entire District of Columbia. Members include professional managers and community association volunteer leaders from condominium, cooperative, and homeowners associations as well as those who provide products and services to associations. Washington Metropolitan Chapter has more than 3,000 members including 300 businesses, 650 professional managers from nearly 100 management companies, and more than 1,700 community association volunteer leaders.
