Our final Virtue Assembly of the school year recognized students who exhibited the virtue of Zeal throughout the month of May—a joyful enthusiasm for doing what is right and giving their best each day.

Whether in the classroom, on the playground, in service to others, or through their commitment to their faith, these students lead by example. Their energy, perseverance, and positive spirit make our school community stronger.

Congratulations to our Zeal Virtue Award recipients! We are proud of the many ways you inspire those around you and grateful for the enthusiasm you bring to all that you do.

After a long journey from caterpillar to butterfly, our preschool students proudly released their butterflies into the sunshine today. 🦋☀️

This hands-on lesson brought the butterfly life cycle to life in such a beautiful and memorable way for our youngest learners. Moments like these are part of what makes the preschool experience at St. Anthony of Padua School so special — nurturing curiosity, wonder, and joy in God’s creation each day. 💙

The Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures van came to visit today and our students had fun learning all about healthy smiles, proper brushing techniques, and why dental health matters! 🦷😁🪥

Thank you to the Colgate team for making oral health fun and educational. Our kids left with big smiles, new knowledge, and some great goodies!

And big thank you to Nurse Amy, Mrs. Nau, and all our volunteers for making this at-school field trip possible 🙂

The 36th Annual Battle of the Books Competition in the Diocese of Arlington took place at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Wednesday, May 13. St. Anthony's was one of 24 diocesan schools that participated this year. Battle of the Books is for fifth and sixth graders, and all of the schools read the same list of 12 books over the course of the year. The students in our Battle of the Books club have been reading and preparing for the last eight months with their coach Mrs. McNerney, and they had a strong showing at the competition! Congratulations to the team and to all of the students who participated this year!

On Friday, our preschool students celebrated with a special Mother’s Day Tea filled with sweet smiles, songs, treats, and precious moments together. We are grateful for the love, care, and support our mothers give each day, and we hope you enjoy these special memories from our celebration.

Yesterday was a day of celebration as we recognized our Catholic Math League winners and honored students who lived out the virtue of responsibility throughout April—way to go! 🎉

Today, on National Teacher Appreciation Day, we celebrate our incredible teachers who inspire, encourage, and bring out the very best in our students each and every day. 💙📚

Yesterday, our 8th graders joined fellow 8th graders from across the Diocese for the annual Vocation Mass celebrated by Bishop Michael Burbidge. It was a meaningful opportunity for our students to reflect on how God may be calling them in their lives. We were especially honored to capture this special moment with the Bishop!

Big congratulations to our newest members of the National Junior Honor Society! 🎉

Yesterday, seven students were inducted, and we could not be more proud. These students shine in scholarship, leadership, character, and service, and they make a real difference in our school community. From tutoring peers to leading tours at Open Houses and serving in so many ways, they truly lead by example.
