Ms. Straw’s class spent part of their Morning Meeting talking about classroom jobs for the year. Students had a lively discussion about everything from which roles make the most sense for sixth graders to how to assign positions. Our Lions showed their ROAR by being Respectful when sharing different opinions, listening to one another, and working through ideas. They also showed what it means to be Outstanding by being ready and willing to take on responsibilities that help their classroom and school community!

🚶🏾🚴🏼‍♀️👩🏻‍🦽 This morning, our students showed up strong for Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Day! From walking with friends to biking in with big smiles, it was inspiring to see our community come together to promote healthy habits, reduce traffic, and enjoy the fresh air.

As the weather warms up and many students travel or play outside, a few quick reminders: wear a helmet, stay hydrated, use sun protection, and follow safe routes. ☀️
