Wacky Eagle Tech is based out of Fallon, USA. We are a small team with over 50 years of combined experience, who have successfully completed 500+ projects for hundreds of happy clients. We are easy to work with, maintain strong communication with you, and pride ourselves in being reliable and respectful.

We specialize in creating custom apps, portals, and intranets, as well as small simple sites to large complex ones and content sites. Not to mention optimizing custom PHP sites and WordPress sites for performance and PageSpeed scores, in many cases exceeding a 90% performance score. Additionally, we provide consulting/guidance, custom web design, creating graphics, writing content, editing audio and video files, data entry, newsletters, social media management, and more.

Our founder Scott has over 25 years in the web field, has a degree in Unix/Linux, and is a talented Technical Project Manager/CTO who has managed a number of large projects over the years. Depending on the scale of your project and how involved you want to be; you can either handle all your tasks through Scott, or you can have a more direct role and input on the project including meetings with the team.

Generally we work hourly, but offer retainers as needed. We do not offer flat rate projects, but have no problem providing an upfront estimate. All work is tracked and billed to the second.

Depending on the scale of the project, we maintain our work in a code repository which includes history and accountability tracking, and run our own servers that we can build or clone your site on for all development work. That way only fully tested, and stable code is pushed live.

Your first call is always free. No hard sales. No time limits. If you have any questions, or require anything please drop us a note!

This is how my brain works. I am either energized, focused and on task... or I am off and done for the day. Very much like a light switch.

It can be a struggle to find ways to balance my energy over the day, and give myself more self-care.

Here are some things that help me keep my light switch on, when it should be, and off when that time comes.

1) Get enough sleep. I struggle with going to bed at a routine time every day. There is always something to do, and a "fire" I need to deal with. So I am working on developing a routine that works for me, and that I can honor day to day.

I have also found certain foods can impact my ability to sleep, or even trigger an “all night think-a-thon”. For example: anything with sugar, caffeine, or foods like chili that might make my tummy moody.

2) Be mindful (aware) of what is and isn't working for you. Observe yourself with an open mind, no judgment, and later consider ways you can change or make that challenging area better. Often minor changes to how we do things, can make doing that thing easier and more efficient.

Are you always forgetting where you put something? Give it a home, maybe a basket by the main door you use to drop your phone, keys, purse, wallet, etc into so you cant leave them in the freezer & spend half the night looking for them. Make it a routine, where you always put those things in their spot, as soon as you walk in the door. Thats just an example, think about it and I am sure you can think of all kinds of ways you can do this.

3) Meditate, which really is about quieting the mind, not by force, but just by using relaxing techniques and observation. It is a lot easier then it sounds. Next you try to have a singular focus on something, maybe a green plant in the corner (traditionally your breath), failing to keep your focus on it, noticing you failed, and simply returning your focus to the plant (or whatever your focus point is). Think of it as a game, mindlessly watching something, noticing you stopped, and you gain points every time you return your focus to it. Over time this can help you to improve your focus, resiliency, memory, relax the nervous system, etc.

4) Be kind to yourself. Negativity hits us 10x harder, spreads faster, causes more damage, and we tend to replay it in our heads over and over for days, weeks, and even sometimes months. Which just allows that negative thing to be repeated and farther ingrain itself a million times over. Stop it, picture a bottomless trashcan, let that stuff fall right out. Let it go! Its just mental clutter that is not serving you, and in the end is holding you back and affecting your quality of life.

5) Have a plan in writing. ADHDers are horrible at remembering anything. Live by the mantra, if its not written down it doesn’t exist.

Every week I take out a piece of paper and fold it once long ways, and then twice the other way to form 8 squares. I then write Monday – Sunday in 7 of the boxes. Next to the day of the week I add the date, any bills, events, or holidays. This usually only takes 1 to 3 lines. Below the day of the week I jot down what I want to or need to do on that day.

Another thing I do is use note books and scrap paper that I keep in a single plastic box, plus a computer note program to form what I like to dub my “second brain”. A spot where I can look up anything I can’t remember, and it also serves as my short term memory.

(I am here if you ever need extra help. You can think of me as your personal coach, tutor, consultant, guide, or even adviser. One on one sessions are done via video call, confidential, and only about you and your challenges.)
