Potter Junior High School Potter JHS serves 7th and 8th grade students in the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District. Potter Jr. High School is truly a special place to be!

We work diligently to provide academic and behavioral support for our students while seeking new and creative opportunities to enrich and extend their experiences on campus. The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District serves a kindergarten through eighth grade student population at nine school sites. FUESD Social Media Expectations

COMMUNITY EVENT

Join the Fallbrook community for a special Day of the Dead celebration on Sunday, November 1, from 12:00–5:00 p.m. at the Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery, 1177 Santa Margarita Drive.

The community gathering will feature music, folkloric dance, lowriders, and children’s activities. Families are encouraged to bring a dish to share for the potluck, their own chair, and a photocopy of a loved one to place on the community altar.

We invite our families to come together and celebrate this meaningful community tradition.

Acompañe a la comunidad de Fallbrook a una celebración especial del Día de Mu***os el domingo 1 de noviembre, de 12:00 a 5:00 p.m., en el Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery, 1177 Santa Margarita Drive.

El evento contará con música, danzas folklóricas, carros lowriders y comida. Se invita a las familias a traer un platillo para compartir, su propia silla y copias de fotografías de sus seres queridos para colocarlas en el altar comunitario.

🎉 Our 7th Graders Did It Again! 🎉

Our 7th graders won last week’s Spirit Day Challenge and earned an extra 10 minutes of lunch! 🙌

We also celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by dancing, singing, and enjoying Spanish-language music together. 💃🕺

What a great way to celebrate culture, community, and school spirit! Way to go, 7th Grade!

Heat Advisory: October 2–8

The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for our area from Friday, October 2, at 10:00 a.m. through Thursday, October 8, at 8:00 p.m.

FUESD continues to prioritize the health and safety of our students and will follow guidance from the California Department of Public Health. During periods of excessive heat, schools will limit outdoor play and strenuous physical activities as needed. Students will also be encouraged to stay hydrated throughout the school day.

We will continue to monitor weather conditions closely and make adjustments as necessary to help keep students and staff safe. We will communicate any additional updates if conditions or school operations are affected.

El Servicio Meteorológico Nacional ha emitido una **Advertencia de Calor Extremo para nuestra área desde el viernes 2 de octubre a las 10:00 a. m. hasta el jueves 8 de octubre a las 8:00 p. m.**

Our Braves brought the energy, school spirit, and plenty of surprises to this month's pep rally! The Karaoke Game had everyone cheering and laughing as some unexpected stars took the stage. 🎤😂

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to our amazing Students of the Month! Your hard work, positive choices, and commitment to being the best version of yourselves deserve to be celebrated!

😂✂️ Well, Braves… Dr. G gets to keep his hair—for now! The challenge was simple: if our students had ZERO tardies all week, Dr. G would get his hair cut by one of our talented student barbers during the rally! 💈✂️

Unfortunately, we didn’t quite make it happen this time, so Dr. G’s hair is safe… for now! 😂 Maybe next time, Braves! Let’s see if we can make that haircut happen at our next rally! 👀✂️

🤍 WHITE LIES DAY at Potter! 🤍

Our Braves brought the fun today with some hilarious—and totally harmless—White Lies! 😂 From “I love the Dodgers (this for Dr. G)” to “Mr. Ayala's class is easy!,” our students and staff showed off their creativity and sense of humor.

Days like this are what make Potter such a fun place to be! We love seeing our Braves laugh, connect with friends, and simply enjoy being part of the Potter family!

¡Nuestros Braves se divirtieron muchísimo hoy con algunas “mentiras blancas” muy graciosas y totalmente inofensivas! 😂 Desde “Me encantan los Dodgers” (¡esto es para el Dr. G!) hasta “¡La clase del Sr. Ayala es fácil!”, nuestros estudiantes y el personal demostraron su creatividad y sentido del humor.
