We spent the cooler hours of the morning creating our Autumn Mud Kitchen recipes 🍂🍁🪾 (thank you to all who donated kitchen items for play!🥣🍴🫙🫗) and several fun activities in the Barn. Stay tuned to see more of what our kids have been learning 👀

Mr. L brought a fun pumpkin puppet to chapel to sing a fun seasonal song to the children 🎃 Music is more than fun—it’s a powerful way for children to learn and grow! Singing, dancing, and making music help build language, memory, coordination, confidence, and connection.

We just had our first B&B table last week!

Are you looking for an opportunity to connect with other preschool parents, share prayer requests, chat with one of our pastors, or just grab a coffee and a snack?

Brews & Blessings is our monthly chance to do exactly that! Once a month we set the table for parents to come together and have connection right here at morning drop off-- not adding anything to your schedule or creating extra stops on your busy mornings. It's right there on your way outside your child's classroom. Stop by and say hello, grab a muffin, or stay and chat. We'd love to see you there!

September 15th was National Dot Day! 🔵🟡 We celebrated all throughout the week with The Dot, dot art, painting, markers, stickers, dot pancake art and blueberry bagel art with sprinkles! ❤️
A sweet reminder that God created each of us uniquely and wonderfully—and we are all artists! 🎨 Thank you to our amazing CTK Family Volunteers for making the day so special!

The Outdoor Classroom is officially open! 🌱🌿🪵🪨☀️

Once a week, one class will get to participate in a lesson outside with Ms. Alyssa at the Barn.

In line with what they're already learning in class, our Dandelions explored their families through a special “Pebble Families” project! We talked about how each pebble is unique, just like each member of our families. They learned that God made every person wonderfully different and gave us families to love, care for, and grow together. 🌿

This week, the Dandelion Room explored a Christ-centered version of “The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe.” We talked about thanking God for our blessings—and then wondered, “How many people could fit in your shoe?” 👟

We traced, estimated, counted, and shared our ideas while learning about faith, math, language & literacy through play! 🌱

Our next staff Spotlight is on the lovely Ms. Tanya! (feat. Cinnamon 🐰)

With decades of experience in preschools, she's our toddler teacher in the Seedlings class. She says:

I love working for CTK because I get serve the kids and share my faith with the kids every day. I love doing circle time and art with the children, I love hanging out with my children and watching them grow.

Fun facts: I have a sweet tooth and I love the beach and I love being outside as much as possible. My favorite colors are blue and green. I read my Bible daily and I learn something new. I also love my coffee black with ice cubes.

We love you Ms. Tanya! 🧡
