Fallbrook Union Elementary School District The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District serves a kindergarten through eighth grade student population at nine school sites.

Heat Advisory: October 2–8

The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for our area from Friday, October 2, at 10:00 a.m. through Thursday, October 8, at 8:00 p.m.

FUESD continues to prioritize the health and safety of our students and will follow guidance from the California Department of Public Health. During periods of excessive heat, schools will limit outdoor play and strenuous physical activities as needed. Students will also be encouraged to stay hydrated throughout the school day.

We will continue to monitor weather conditions closely and make adjustments as necessary to help keep students and staff safe. We will communicate any additional updates if conditions or school operations are affected.

El Servicio Meteorológico Nacional ha emitido una **Advertencia de Calor Extremo para nuestra área desde el viernes 2 de octubre a las 10:00 a. m. hasta el jueves 8 de octubre a las 8:00 p. m.**

FUESD continúa dando prioridad a la salud y seguridad de nuestros estudiantes y seguirá las recomendaciones del Departamento de Salud Pública de California. La Paloma Elementary celebrated Start With Hello Week with a special Leadership Assembly focused on Respect.

Students came together to learn about the importance of showing respect through their words, actions, and everyday choices. The assembly reinforced how kindness, inclusion, and respect help create a school community where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and connected.

It was a meaningful way for La Paloma students to continue building strong leadership skills while celebrating the spirit of Start With Hello Week.

La Escuela Primaria La Paloma celebró Start With Hello Week con una Asamblea de Liderazgo especial enfocada en el valor del respeto.

Los estudiantes se reunieron para aprender sobre la importancia de demostrar respeto a través de sus palabras, acciones y decisiones diarias. William H. Frazier Elementary welcomed families for a special **Lunch on the Lawn**, and the support from the Frazier community was incredible! Parents and family members began lining up before lunchtime, excited for the opportunity to enjoy a picnic-style lunch with their students on the Frazier field.

It was wonderful to see so many families sharing lunch, laughter, and quality time together. Thank you to our Frazier families for making this special day such a memorable one for our students! 💙
