FUN, FUN, FUN! What a fabulous night! Our recent Toastmaster Installation was a feast for the eyes, and the senses! We welcomed our new President, Maritza Gonzalez, and our new board members. The majority of the evening was a chance to celebrate and thank our outgoing president, Carole Hodges, with the theme "Phoenix Rising". The festivities includes several roasts, and some outlandish and hysterical skits. Local restaurant Greek Style Chicken provided the feast.

Maritza's theme for the new year is GROWTH. And we invite all to visit this fun and inviting group any time.

What a fun night!!! Fallbrook Village Toastmasters celebrated St. Patrick's Day with a 'Green" Auction! Not green objects (though some were), but gently-used, recycled, reclaimed items. Every member had the opportunity to stand up and 'sell' their item to the club members. Then Toastmaster Ernest Cardenas ramped up the bidding! There were practical items to bid on, but some of the most popular items were home made goodies, and future social gathers (barbecues, etc.) Everyone went home a winner - and we made nearly $800 toward our upcoming Installation dinner.

Congratulations Northern Division!

What amazing and dynamic speeches! Toastmaster’s International Speech contest was held in Fallbrook on November 16. Speakers from Areas 3 & 15 (Northern Division) competed in the International Speech or Table Topics (improvisational) contests.

Toastmaster’s Lawrence Martineau ( Area 3 - Downtown Escondido) and Nathaniel Boris (Area 15- Carlsbad-Oceanside) placed First, and will be moving to their respective Division Contests to be held in early 2025. Leticia Leal (Area 3- Downtown Escondido) placed First in Table Topics.

We’re especially proud of Fallbrook’s own Carole Hodges (2nd Place, Area 15), who spoke passionately about her daughters’ soccer match, and her inspiring life lesson.

Congratulations all! Come be inspired every week. Join us! Attend as a guest for free and see what we're all about.
