This is a welcoming class for all. No matter if you've never done yoga or if you're an experienced yogi, you are welcome. Whatever your level, bring your "beginner" mind and be ready to add to your knowledge of asana (poses). Flexibility, strength and balance will be taught in this class led by Leslie Salmon. Another milestone - now registered as a ytrx500 (yoga therapist with 500 hours of training through Samata.com - an accredited Yoga Therapy school). 1,000 hours required to be Certified with IAYT, so in year 3 of 4 at Loyola Marymount Los Angeles. With the 500-hour designation, I am able to offer yoga therapy to those in need. (see www.iayt.org for more information on the therapeutic applications of yoga)

IAYT supports research and education in yoga and serves as a professional organization for yoga teachers and yoga therapists worldwide.  Our mission is to establish yoga as a recognized and respected therapy.

I am 'stepping out/up'; changing the name of the 'Aligned Yoga' class at Sage Yoga Studios to ANUSARA. Still aligned, still fun, still work - at times; yet infused with what drew me to Anusara Yoga 20 years ago. Tuesday & Thursday mornings, 10:30am.
