We are very excited about the 2026-2027 school year! We want to welcome everyone to meet their teacher on September 1 from 2pm -3pm. PTO is bringing the Mr. ICY truck so we can start our year with a treat! Kindergarteners are welcome to attend, however we do not have our classes yet. We have to wait until K screening is complete.

We do not have formal supply lists as we aim to supply each student with all that they need. We do ask families to consider purchasing over the ear, wired headphones as students will use them every day for ST Math and Lexia. Please do not send blue tooth headphones.

Teachers always appreciate donations of tissues, Paper Towels and Clorox wipes. Feel free to drop off at our 9/1 Meet and Greet

Due to circumstances out of our control, we had to adjust the book fair schedule. Please take a look at the new schedule to determine when your child’s class is scheduled to come. Friday is a make up day for any student who was absent during their scheduled time. Please make sure your student has money to come during their scheduled time. Thank you!

Book Fair is next week!!!! We need volunteers to help students pick out books!! Please see the schedule and sign up if your CORI checked and available!!!

The Book Fair is coming next week!! It will be here from June 1st til June 5th!! This fair will be a buy one get one book fair. So every book a student purchases they receive another one for free!!

On this site you can also set up your child’s eWallet!! With the eWallet you don’t need to send your child to school with money!!

Fall River Public Schools is committed to fostering an equitable educational environment where every student can thrive. As part of this commitment, the district will be creating a Strategic Plan that will help guide the future of FRPS.

As part of this process, we are forming a Strategic Planning Committee and are seeking participation from diverse voices across our school community. We are looking for parents, caregivers, educators, staff, and community members who are interested in helping shape the future of Fall River Public Schools.

Members will generally meet once a month beginning in June 2026 from 5:30-7:00 pm, at Durfee High School and the first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17th.

There will also be additional opportunities for family, staff, and community participation through upcoming subcommittees and engagement sessions.
