All children, ages 3-5, are eligible for enrollment regardless of race, religion, national origin, emotional maturity, developmental ability, disability, or special need. We work hard to create a place for all children to learn and grow. Children must have a current physical examination conducted by a physician and be current on all immunizations. All children must be toilet trained. Our program o
perates from early September through May each year and follows the holiday schedule of the Fall River Joint Unified School District. We are a tuition based program with reasonable rates and financial assistance available. Small Wonders Preschool runs two different programs for children. We offer a 3-year old program from 9am to 12pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays which focuses on social interaction and exploration. The 4-year old program is from 9am to 1pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and focuses on kindergarten readiness. Both programs are lead by Shannon Carnegie who is a 18-year resident of the Fall River Valley/McArthur area. She received an AA Degree from Shasta College in General Education in 1986, a BS Degree from Humboldt State University in Wildlife Management in 1992, and an AS Degree in Early Childhood Education from Shasta College in 2008.
