Sterile processing technicians are the behind-the-scenes heroes of healthcare. They clean, disinfect, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments and equipment so they’re ready to safely use on the next patient.🧤

🦠 Sterile processing is one of the most important lines of defense against infection in healthcare.
🧰 Sterile processing technicians can be responsible for thousands of instruments and devices that must be properly cleaned, inspected, assembled, and sterilized before they can be used again!
🏥 They work closely with surgical teams, even though patients may never see them.
🔍 Attention to detail is everything in this field. One missed step can have a big impact.
