📱 Rooms is up and running in the Lovejoy ISD app! 🐆

Lovejoy ISD teachers are beginning to create their Rooms within the app, giving families a convenient way to stay connected with their student’s teachers throughout the school year.

If you have already downloaded the Lovejoy ISD app and successfully logged in, you’re all set! As teachers begin creating their Rooms, they will appear under the Rooms section of the app. You’ll also be able to send and receive messages with your student’s teachers through the Messages section.

Families may receive text messages from two different numbers:

🚨 98900 — IMPORTANT District & Campus Communications
This number is used for important district and campus communications, including safety and security information, school closures, and other critical updates. Parents are strongly encouraged NOT to opt out of text messages from 98900.

💬 27806 — Lovejoy ISD App Notifications
This number is associated with Lovejoy ISD mobile app notifications, including classroom announcements and teacher messages. Parents may opt out of these text messages if desired.

A great school day starts with a nutritious meal! The Lovejoy ISD Student Nutrition Team is ready to welcome students back for another fantastic year.

🍽️ 2026–2027 Student Meal Prices

🧸 Elementary: $3.75

📚 Intermediate & Middle School: $4.25
⭐ Premium Meal: $5.00

🎓 High School: $4.75
⭐ Premium Meal: $5.50

💳 Funding Your Student's Meal Account

Student meal accounts can be funded online through MySchoolBucks.

Beginning July 31, 2026, the MySchoolBucks transaction fee will increase from $3.50 to $3.75 per transaction due to increased payment processing and operational costs.

📌 Helpful Reminders:
✅ Maximum online deposit: $240 per transaction
✅ Funds can be transferred between siblings by contacting Student Nutrition.
✅ Want to avoid the online transaction fee? Checks are accepted by cafeteria cashiers at no additional cost.

Need after-school care? Lovejoy ISD is proud to continue our partnership with AlphaBEST Education to provide high-quality after-school care for students in Pre-K through 6th grade.

✨ Why families love AlphaBEST:
✅ After-school care for Pre-K–6th grade students
✅ Fun enrichment activities every day
✅ Extended care available until 6:30 p.m.
✅ Flexible 5-day or 3-day enrollment options

🚌 Transportation Provided
Students attending Hart Elementary, Puster Elementary, and Sloan Creek Intermediate will be transported to Lovejoy Childhood Development Center (LCDC) to participate in the AlphaBEST after-school program.

Stop #5: 1:1 Student Devices 💻

Lovejoy ISD is excited to continue our 1:1 Chromebook Program for students in grades 5–12 during the 2026–2027 school year!

Technology is an important part of the learning experience, and every student in grades 5–12 will receive a district-issued Chromebook to support learning both in and out of the classroom.

💻 Chromebook Distribution
Students will receive their Chromebook during 2nd period on the first day of school. Devices will already be waiting in each 2nd period classroom, making distribution quick and easy.

🎓 Lovejoy High School (Grades 9–12)

📚 Sloan Creek Intermediate (Grades 5–6)

🐆 Willow Springs Middle School (Grades 7–8)

💡 Roadmap Tip: There's no need to visit a separate pickup location! Simply report to your scheduled 2nd period class, where your assigned Chromebook will be waiting for you.
