Hello Funk's Learning Lab families!

I know I’ve shared this a few times, but I want to make sure everyone has the info they need!

June 10th is the deadline to enroll for next school year at Funk’s Learning Lab. We still have a few spots open.

Families need to complete the Student Info form by June 10th. If you need a copy, email me at [email protected] or stop by the school at 321 S 6th Ave.

The Oklahoma Parent Choice Tax Credit application must be completed by June 15th (this deadline is not being extended).

I strongly encourage families who are still deciding to go ahead and complete both the info sheet and the tax credit application now. This secures your spot and the tuition funds.

If you later decide Funk’s isn’t the best fit for your child, you can withdraw with no penalty — no strings attached!

Funk’s Learning Lab is looking for enthusiastic and dependable Short-Term and Long-Term Substitute Teachers to join our team!

Position Overview:
Short-Term Substitutes – Fill in as needed on a daily or short-term basis
Long-Term Substitutes – Cover extended periods (multiple weeks or months)

We’re Looking For:

Reliable, positive, and flexible individuals
Those who enjoy working with students in a creative, hands-on learning environment
Retired teachers, education students, and anyone passionate about helping children learn
Candidates who can follow lesson plans and maintain a supportive classroom atmosphere

We did it! We celebrated our very first kindergarten graduation at Funk’s Learning Lab, and our hearts are overflowing with pride!

These incredible little world changers have grown so much this year — learning, laughing, making friends, and discovering just how bright their futures can be. Watching them walk across that stage filled us with so much joy and hope.

We are so proud of each and every one of you, sweet graduates! The world is going to be a better place because you’re in it. We can’t wait to cheer you on as you continue this beautiful journey of education.

Our students had the absolute treat of hearing from Millie of Millie Coffee — our favorite local coffee trailer entrepreneur! ☕️👑

She came and shared her amazing journey of turning her dream into a thriving business, and talked to the kids about what it really means to be an entrepreneur.

Millie encouraged them to dream big, work hard, and always have a solid plan. The best part? You could see the spark in the kids’ eyes as they asked questions and started imagining their own future businesses!

Thank you, Millie, for taking the time to pour into our students and share your story. This is exactly the kind of real-world inspiration our kids need!
