It is with great sadness that Diane and I share the passing of our dad. He is now free from his worn-out body and in Heaven now with Mom. We take comfort in knowing they are together again.
We know Dad is enjoying some bird hunting in Heaven, where there are always birds to find, the bird dogs always point and bring the downed birds right to you.
All of our family will miss him terribly, but we are thankful he is at peace and with Mom again.

John Slater passed away, he was a graduate of 1959. Memorial service will be August 29, 2026 , at
Chaney Witt Chapel, Fort Scott, Kansas.
