FBC Child Development Center

Today is the day the CDC will close its doors permanently. I know this closure has caused much sadness. But, I believe we also have so much to be thankful for. Thankful that God has given the CDC 50+ years in this community loving on children and teaching them about Jesus. I personally am so grateful for the ways CDC families have blessed my staff with their kindness and consideration over the years and especially in the past couple of months. I am so thankful that so many people, whether they be families or staff, have shared in these last couple of months how the CDC has blessed them. I am so thankful for the opportunity to get to know your little ones. They have made me smile even on tough days, intrigued me with their curiosity, and encouraged me with their sweetness. I’m thankful for a staff that has loved on each other to the point that one staff member described the staff as “a family.” We know the CDC is closing today, but we also know that God has used the CDC to make a difference that will be of lasting effect in the lives of many. Every year the Child Development Center staff has had a theme for dressing up for the fall parties. This year will be the center’s last time to dress up together, so the theme is “we stick together”
