🚧 Under construction at Fairport High School! 🚧 The STEAM addition is coming to life in real time! Right now, crews are framing walls and door frames and hanging drywall, while others are hard at work overhauling Dave Paddock Way!

The Fairport Central School District recognizes that social media platforms are a primary source of news and information to the public. The District uses social media to communicate, inform and celebrate students, staff and District achievements and to promote transparency.

However, the purpose of the District’s official social media channels must be reflected in the presentation and use of those platforms.

The District will no longer use social media comment sections to receive feedback from the public, but instead will direct and encourage community members to use alternative methods to connect directly with District officials.

As of July 1,2026, community members will no longer be able to leave comments on new posts shared by the official District social media platforms.

Today’s Minerva DeLand Commemoration Ceremony was one to remember! To usher in a new era of Minerva DeLand School, staff members past and present came together for a gathering filled with music, stories, keepsakes and lots of smiles. 😀

Thank you to the Commemoration Committee members who organized this event and to the current and former MD staff who gathered to celebrate the school’s rich history and enduring legacy.

As our ninth grade students prepare for their first year at Fairport High School this fall, the campus at Minerva DeLand will still be full of activity! The District is excited to welcome Monroe One BOCES’ eSTART program to the building, beginning in August.

Facilities like the gymnasium, Large Group Instruction room and music rooms will continue to be used by our Fairport students for extracurricular activities, practices and performances.
