The Fairport Central School District recognizes that social media platforms are a primary source of news and information to the public. The District uses social media to communicate, inform and celebrate students, staff and District achievements and to promote transparency. However, the purpose of the District’s official social media channels must be reflected in the presentation and use of those platforms. The District will no longer use social media comment sections to receive feedback from the public, but instead will direct and encourage community members to use alternative methods to connect directly with District officials. As of July 1,2026, community members will no longer be able to leave comments on new posts shared by the official District social media platforms. Here are just some of the ways to connect with District administration and the Board of Education:

- Email the District at to be directed to the appropriate point of contact

FAIRPORT FOR THE FUTURE 2023! Thank you to the entire Perinton and Fairport communities for your support of the Fairport for the Future 2023 Capital Improvement Project.

Last night, students and staff cut the ribbon on the new Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) wing at Fairport High School. We broke ground on the STEAM wing in 2025 and we are so proud of the facility and the opportunities to come for Fairport students.

This is a true community investment in our Future-Ready Raiders!

🤩 6 - 7:30 - Tour the new STEAM wing!
⚽ 7:30 p.m. - Boys Varsity Soccer game
🎇 FIREWORKS after the game!

Remember - there is no parking at Fairport High School for the Friday night rally. Our shuttle bus service runs from 6 p.m. until after the firework show with pickups and drop offs at the Perinton Community Center, Dudley, Martha Brown and Minerva Deland.

If you're in the market for Fairport Homecoming t-shirts, they will be on sale for $20 at the following dates and locations:
- Wednesday, 9/9 at FHS events entrance, 5 - 7 p.m.
- Monday, 9/14 at FHS events entrance, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
- Friday, 9/25 at the Community Rally, 6 - 8 p.m.
- Saturday, 9/26 at the Varsity Football Homecoming game, 3-5 p.m.
All proceeds from sale of the shirts go to student programs and activities at Fairport High School

We're starting the year with an Attitude of Gratitude! Fairport staff gathered today at FHS for the traditional Opening Day Celebration as we prepare to welcome students back for the 2026-2027 school year! 🎉🎊

We were happy to host incoming fifth graders for a "Band Boot Camp" this week at Fairport High School! 🎷🎺🥁 Our students got the basics on brass, woodwinds and percussion from Fairport music teachers - a great way to prepare for the upcoming year!
