Congratulations to the Koryo Taekwondo Club (Lynchburg, VA) for hosting Grandmaster Fujimura and Master Robert George of Fujimura Taekwondo Association for a black belt exam with the following final results:

What goes with the 6th place Collegiate Taekwondo Team (recently placed 6th at the 2026 National Collegiate Taekwondo Association/NCTA Championships)? A black belt exam on campus for Senior Paul Bearchell at Liberty University.

Cheered on by some of his teammates and his wife Assistant Coach Julia Bearchell, Paul rose to his black belt exam proctored by Grandmaster Fujimura, Master Robert George, Head Coach Tom Childress Assistant Coach Jenna, passing his exam with flying colors.

Congratulations Paul Bearchell on your promotion to 1st Dan Black Belt.

Saturday May 2, 2026, Fujimura Taekwondo Association welcomed it's newest Taekwondo Master Instructor (5th Dan). Master Nathaniel X. Marshall took his first Taekwondo Exam with us forty years ago (9th Gup/ White belt with a yellow stripe). Today we are honored to recognize a faithful student and now Master Instructor. Congratulations! Your hard work and consistent inspiration to your students is goal we all should embody.

Master Marshall teaches at the Sattva Yoga and Wellness Center in Lynchburg.

2026 Ahn's Taekwondo Classic and school meetings at Ahn's Taekwondo Institute (Master Jamie Hamilton & Norman Kim), USTC West Chester, (GM Chuck Beyersdoerfer Sr.), GM Ron Hickey and many others gathered for this event in Cincinnati, OH.

Welcome Aboard Master Bruce Jones to the Fujimura Taekwondo Association (second time) but this time as one of our Master Instructors. Wishing all is well at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Taekwondo program. You have maintained this since 1999 and developed many great students.
