Point Pleasant Fire Dept. visited our Emergency Services class on Friday, giving students a closer look at what’s inside every compartment of a rescue truck and the chance to try on equipment.

Emergency Services senior Ryan M. played a role in the visit, assisting his officer with the demonstration. After years as an Explorer, he’s now an exterior firefighter with the department.

Thanks to Point Pleasant FD for the visit!

Law and Public Safety students stepped into the courtroom to get a feel for the justice system in action. ⚖️

They visited the Kenneth B. Keating Federal Building, where they held a mock trial in Judge Meredith Vacca’s courtroom under her supervision.

Students also connected with professionals across the field, including a U.S. attorney, public defender, U.S. marshal, and a supervisor from the U.S. Probation Office in Rochester.

Experiences like this help connect what students are learning in class to work happening in law and public safety fields every day.
