High Country Rancher Days is almost here!
On 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟴–𝟮𝟵, join us at 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 and 𝗟𝗮 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗰𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 for two days of learning, ranch tours, expert presentations, and meaningful conversations with fellow ranchers and agricultural professionals.

Considering whether an 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 might be a good fit for your ranch?
One of the goals of 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 is to help ranchers learn more about what these opportunities can look like in practice. We’ll hear from interns/apprentices from both host ranches about what the experience means to them and why they chose to do it.
If you’ve ever wondered where to find an intern/apprentice or if one could help you with labor, training, or simply adding a new perspective to your operation, this session may help answer some of your questions.

Colorado ranchers are making important decisions in a time of 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝘆 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

We’re pleased to welcome 𝗗𝗿. 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗮𝗻, 𝗖𝗦𝗨 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻, to High Country Rancher Days. Dr. Whitman will present on 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗶𝗹𝘀, a topic that can have a meaningful impact on herd and flock health in our region.

We’re excited to welcome 𝗗𝗶𝘅𝗶𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗥𝗖𝗦 as a speaker at High Country Rancher Days. In her role she serves six Colorado counties surrounding Fremont County. Dixie will lead a discussion on 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗶𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵, sharing insight that is especially timely as Colorado continues to face extreme drought and scarce water conditions in many places.
Thoughtful grazing planning is one tool ranchers can use to support both ecological and economic resilience. We’re looking forward to a practical conversation about what that looks like on the ground and how ranchers can make decisions that fit their land, livestock, and goals.

Park County, Chaffee County, and the surrounding mountain regions hold a tremendous amount of ranching knowledge, innovation, and practical experience — however, despite the tranquility of living in such remote locations, oftentimes it can make it so that information is not widely shared.
𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 (𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟮𝟵) is designed to help change that. This event will create space for ranchers to learn from one another, hear from local and regional experts, and connect around the real challenges and opportunities shaping our agricultural future.
