During our Paying It Forward 9/11 Concert event, we have invited some special guest speakers to share some words about Paying It Forward.

We hope you will join us in commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the events of September 11th.

We would like to introduce you to our speakers for the evening throughout this week!

This event is free and open to the public! We ask that in lieu of paying a ticket admission, you pay it forward and make a donation to the Pay it Forward 9/11 organization and our campus Tygart Valley United Way campaign. See links below!

Rev. Mike Estep
Serving as the director of the Fairmont State University Wesley Foundation - a campus ministry supported by the United Methodist and Presbyterian (USA) Churches, Mike is the senior pastor of LIFE United Methodist Church on Fairmont, and a Certified Spiritual Director. He is married to Sarah and dad to Abbey McGrew (Tanner), Jacob, and Sam (Kaylee), and grandpa to Beckett McGrew. Mike loves to hike West Virginia and stare at waterfalls.

We are thrilled to have Dr. Alysia Cockrell Davis as one of our 3 speakers for this event!

Dr. Alysia Davis is the First Lady of Fairmont State University, where she supports the campus community and its constituents. She has expertise in higher education, volunteer administration, community relations, nonprofit administration, and philanthropy. Currently, she works as an agritourism entrepreneur in Fairmont, having founded Storylodge Farm, an apple orchard with on-site lodging.

Alysia is the mother of a high school-aged daughter who attends Fairmont Senior High School. She is a member of the Fairmont Rotary Club and campus advisor for the Fairmont State Rotaract Club, a volunteer for the Tygart Valley United Way and Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council, a board member of the Marion County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and a member of the Leadership Marion Class 43 cohort. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, painting, crafts, and gardening.

Our brand new glow in the dark stair treads, and upgraded aisle lighting are awesome additions to our theater upgrades to ensure all patrons don’t trip when navigating our space! This helps us to achieve our goal to have an accessible space for all!

During our June production of Come From Away, the Fairmont Federal Credit Union awarded us a $500 sponsorship to provide hygiene items to Friendship Fairmont, the Marion County Resource Network, and the Union Mission!
