We are thrilled to welcome a new instructor to the Academy family, but a very familiar face to Wallman Hall! Please help us welcome, Brady Dunn! Brady will be offering a BRAND NEW class this fall called “Auditioning for Professional Theatre” for ages 13-18! This class will have limited enrollment, so stay tuned for pre-registration to be opened up this Wednesday and snag your spot! Read more about Brady here- Instructor Bio:
Brady Dunn (they/them) is an artist, actor, and audio engineer from Fairmont, West Virginia. After 10 years of
acting with the Fairmont State Town & Gown Players, Brady studied at West Liberty University where they attained
their multidisciplinary degree in Music and Theatre, and began their professional acting career directly out of
college. Having been hired at several theatres in the greater Atlanta area including Serenbe Playhouse (The Little
Mermaid, Macbeth), Out of Box Theatre (Evil Dead: The Musical), The Atlanta Opera (West Side Story), The
Legacy Theatre (Matilda, Charlie Brown), and Clayton State University as a guest artist (Tartuf e), Brady is
well-versed in what professional theatres are looking for in actors, and is excited to share their knowledge and
experience with the FSU Academy for the Arts.

We are excited to start announcing our fall 2026 classes!

Pre-registration will begin Wednesday, September 9th!

Here is our first of MANY great classes this fall!

Triple “Set” (Becoming Better Performers AND Better People)

From a young age, our performers hear the musical theatre term- “triple threat” which generally refers to being talented in the three main areas of musical theatre- acting, vocals, and dance. This is a great goal! However, “threat” can carry the connotation of pushing your way to the top, and intimidating the competition on your way. This class will set up our young actors in two ways: They will grow in their craft as actor, singer, and dancer. But, we are also going to “set” them up to remember more importantly, the artist must grow in character and community on their way! It is possible to be fierce in your art, and humble of heart! Come grow with us in both! Showcase at the end of term!
