The 2015 West Virginia Governor's Honors Academy at FSU The Governor's Schools of West Virginia offer outstanding students the opportunity to live and study

The Governor's Schools of West Virginia offer outstanding students the opportunity to live and study with like-minded students, growing intellectually and socially as they prepare for the future. The Governor's Honors Academy, originating in 1984, is based on the premise that West Virginia's brightest and highest-achieving rising seniors deserve special learning opportunities in order for them to

realize their full potential. This year's GHA takes place on the vibrant campus of Fairmont State University, and 200 students will be invited to attend. Talk to your guidance counselor or students in your school who attended in 2014. Every minute at GHA presents new opportunities--opportunities that you won't want to miss!

In addition to teaching at the Academy, Mr. Garcia also served as associate dean one year and as the faculty representative to the Governor's Schools Advisory Council

Each and every one of you was an integral part not only of the physical letters and numbers in these photographs but also of the individual and common academic, cultural, and social experiences they represent.
