Camp SOAR 2026 has been one of the BEST summers in a very long time!

To our students: We are proud of you! You’ve worked hard, played hard, met new friends and staff, stepped outside of your comfort zone, and most importantly you had fun! The progress you have made this summer fills our hearts. We love seeing your big smiles and laughter; your enthusiasm for school is contagious.

To Our Families and Friends of Families: Our ESY program and Restaurant Days continue to grow because of YOU! We are grateful for every conversation you have with your friends, family members, neighbors, “love” a social media post, “share” a social media post, or simply talk about about Camp SOAR or The Skills For Life Academy at BCTHS. Most importantly, we thank you for sharing your young adult with us. A couple years ago, some of you didn’t know about our program but our connections and conversations are powerful and always in the best interest of our students.

To Our BCTHS Staff and Administrators: Thank you for supporting our students and program. The team is most appreciative of all of you who stop in to say hi or have purchased lunch on our restaurant days. Our students feel comfortable with familiar faces & that feeling supports a smooth transition during the school year.

To Our Sending Districts: We are grateful for your continued support of the students in our district who attended the BCTHS Summer Opportunities Are Real (SOAR) Extended School Year program.

Camp SOAR Day 18: Our students were treated to pizza because we had two students beat Mr. Hopkins in bowling last week. The crew also practiced for the talent show, wrapped up progress monitoring, baked Rice Krispies Treats, and ended the day in the gym with a competitive game of mat ball!
