The Key Club at BCTHS is hosting our 6th annual Mini-THON on Friday, May 12th, 2023. 202 students will not sit for 6 straight hours while dancing the night away to celebrate the money we raised supporting pediatric cancer. Mini-THONs around the country--including ours--are modeled after Penn State’s 46-hour, no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon that raises money for the ‘4 Diamonds Fund’. It provides the finances needed for research, treatment, medical bills, and any other financial burdens that a family has to face during such a difficult time. Students at BCTHS dream and prepare to grow up to be chefs, hairdressers, engineers, and nurses--children their age with cancer just want the dream of being able to grow up--and our students are helping to ensure they have that chance. We are asking the BCTHS community for any monetary donation–small or large–that they would be willing to contribute to this cause and to the families our students are trying to help."

Our biggest Mini Thon Fundraiser is here…Pie in the Face. 🥧💧The teacher that raises the most money by Friday will get a pie in the face at Mini Thon next week. The second and third place winners will get water ballooned.

Our Key Club Officers got the experience of a lifetime this weekend by experiencing Penn States 46-hour dance marathon, which raises money for the treatment and cure of pediatric cancer. The Key Club of BCTHS has held their own ‘Mini-THON’ for the last 6 years, modeled after Penn State and contributing to the same cause, and it was an incredible opportunity for our students to see the dedication, the passion and the heart that goes into all that is THON. Penn State, BCTHS, and Key Club will forever be connected in their mission to help any and all families who have a child diagnosed with cancer and ensure they never need to fight that mission alone. As we sang all night every hour with the line dance…”WE ARE…One Unit”, and our students are incredibly proud to be part of that unit.
