At Bucks County Technical High School, we take pride in using hands-on education to serve the community.

Our Collision Repair students have officially taken on their newest project: refinishing the Lower Makefield Police Department’s SWAT van. Chevrolet Express vans of this era frequently suffer from paint adhesion failure, giving our class a perfect real-world scenario to practice complete paint stripping, panel prep, and industrial-grade refinishing.

This project gives our students critical industry skills while saving local public safety departments valuable budget dollars.

Follow along as we share step-by-step progress photos leading up to the final reveal!

Thank you New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance for donating a 2022 Nissan Altima to our collision repair program.
Having access to a newer vehicle gives our students an incredible hands-on learning experience that reflects current industry standards. This donation allows them to gain practical, real-world experience in damage assessment, structural measuring, diagnostic scanning, disassembly, and repair planning.

As vehicle technology rapidly evolves, donations like yours ensure our students are truly real-world ready
