Congratulations, Patrick!

During his senior year, Patrick won the following awards for his work:

1st place 2-D Emerging Artist Exhibition
2nd place 3-D Youth Art Exhibition
Honorable Mention - Painting High School Exhibition

In addition to a few art awards he also won as an underclassman, assisting with prom, sports nite, designing the art show t-shirt junior year, and being an active member of the NAHS executive board. Patrick is an incredible, thoughtful human being and artist. He is a good friend, a good student, and an outrageously detailed technical artist. He will be attending for Biomedical Engineering in the fall.

Congratulations to Annie Layden for being awarded the Catherine Peach Art Scholarship! Annie is attending the University of Delaware for Art Education!

The Catherine Peach Award was established in 2014, after the passing of our late daughter Catherine (who used the pen name “Catherine Peach” on her art projects).

Catherine graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1999, excelling in and loving the art program at Pennsbury. She went on to graduate from Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, OR, with honors. She was one of the most caring individuals ever, always going out of her way to help her fellow students and artists. When a rare form of brain cancer took her from us, we pledged to find a way where Catherine could still help students - thus, the Catherine Peach Award, now in its 11th year, was born.

Congrats to senior, Holly Olivant on her Pennsbury Education Association scholarship! Holly wrote an essay about the impact Ms. Adair has had on her. Holly will be pursuing a career in Art Education at Millersville University in the fall! Congrats, Holly!
