Tutu School Akron Tutu School in Fairlawn offers ballet for kids 6 months to 8 years.

Tutu School is a boutique-style ballet school that caters specifically to children 6 months to 8 years-old. Our mission is simple: We believe that exposing children at the earliest possible age to creativity, movement, and classical music will only serve them well in whatever they choose to do with their lives, that dancing like swans and Sugar Plum Fairies not only exercises little bodies but also nurtures big imaginations, and that twirling should be a fundamental part of any childhood.

Today we recognize and honor the culture, history, and contributions of Indigenous peoples. 🤍

As a school rooted in the arts, we believe storytelling, music, movement, and cultural traditions of all kinds help connect generations and enrich our communities. We’re grateful for Native voices and the cultural work of organizations like Northeast Ohio’s North American Indian Cultural Center (NAICC).

To us, ballet is about so much more than the steps.

It’s a place for big imaginations, growing confidence, joyful movement, and the freedom for children to be wonderfully, completely themselves 💕
