Yesterday, Oakmont Education brought our school leaders together for our annual Director Kick-Off Meeting — a chance to celebrate our successes, align for the year ahead, and kick off 2026–27 with some serious momentum!

Our Directors heard from teams across Oakmont, including Human Resources, Accounting, Facilities, Data Science, and Marketing, highlighting the work happening behind the scenes to support our schools, staff, students, and families.

And, of course, we took time to celebrate some big wins! 🏆

Congratulations to Steel City High School, named our Most Improved School, and Towpath Trail High School, our 2026 School of the Year! 🎉

Both recognitions reflect what can happen when strong leadership, dedicated teams, and a relentless focus on students come together.

We left the day with a lot to celebrate — and even more to look forward to.

Here’s to our Directors, our school teams, and another year of creating opportunities for students across our communities. Let’s go win the year!

Old Brook High School Parma Campus has been selected as one of only FIVE schools nationwide to receive the prestigious Future Forward Schools Prize & Fellowship Program award!

Out of 157 schools that applied across the country, Old Brook Parma was recognized for its innovative career-focused learning opportunities and strong community partnerships that help students prepare for life after graduation.

As part of this honor, the school will receive $50,000 to expand career exploration programming and a 9-month fellowship cohort with Building Hope!

We are incredibly proud of our students, staff, and partners for this national recognition and excited to continue building innovative opportunities for student success!
