Volunteers are needed for this year’s Shelby County Art Fest’s, “Art in the Park” Sept 12th from 9 AM till 2 PM at Blue River Memorial Park, if interested contact Ms. Lay Monday.
Any girl interested in playing basketball this season please see Coach Polston. Fall workouts start next week!
Book Club members will be reading The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, see Ms. Meyer for a copy of the book.
Painting the parking spots reminders - ONE DAY ONLY Sunday, August 30, 8am-4pm
You will NOT be able to park in the student lot at any time - plan accordingly for supplies
Check in when arrive for instructions/parking spot
Paint and paint brushes CANNOT be taken into the school or washed out in the sinks.
Coffee and slushies will be available for purchase.

FTA Cheer Day at the Indians Game is this Sunday...bring the family out to the Ball Park and catch your Tigers in action as well!

FTA Night is THIS Friday; the announcer will call participants down to the scoreboard end zone with 3 minutes left in the 1/2. Teams will run onto the field stopping at the 50-yard. FTA participants are free, family members will need to buy a ticket.

There will be a book club call out meeting today after school in Mr. Hall’s classroom. Come bedazzle a bookmark and help select our first book for the school year. If you can’t make it, see Mrs. Meyer or Mr. Hall for the Google Classroom code.

TC Drama will have rehearsals today at 3 pm. Be sure to bring your script and your favorite pencil with eraser.

Congrats to both JV and Varsity Boys Tennis teams for defeating Beech Grove.
The Girls Varsity soccer team defeated Beech Grove last night in double overtime. Madelyn Burnett had a hat trick (3 goals) for the win.

TC Drama will begin rehearsals this Tues and Thur at 3 pm. Be sure to bring your script and your favorite pencil with eraser, as well as your homework for those down moments!!
Seniors, InvestED will be here on Wednesday at 1pm to talk to you about FAFSA and Financial Aid. If you flex or attend Blue River and would like to attend this, you are more than welcome to stay, make sure you communicate with your teacher at Blue River if that is the case.
