That's a wrap on our June Camp Cardinal sessions! ☀
We loved having so many young Cardinals on campus this month, including these talented 4–6-year-olds who created some beautiful works of art during camp.
Thank you to all of our campers, families, and staff for making June such a fun and memorable experience. We can't wait to welcome everyone back for more Camp Cardinal adventures when our summer camps resume in July!

We were blessed by unexpected visitors!
These three sisters traveled all the way from Ann Arbor, Michigan, home of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, while serving at Vacation Bible School at St. Lawrence Parish. During their time on the Eastern Shore, they stopped by St. Michael for a campus tour.
The Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist are known for their commitment to education, prayer, evangelization, and community outreach. It was a joy to welcome them to campus and share a little of what makes St. Michael so special.
Thank you, Sisters, for your witness to faith and joyful service!

New to the Nest!
We're thrilled to welcome Lilly to St. Michael this fall! A recent graduate of Christ the King Catholic School, Lilly is already making her mark as a member of both the Cardinal cross country and soccer teams.
We can't wait to see all she accomplishes in the classroom, on the course, and on the field as she begins her Cardinal journey. Welcome to the Nest, Emily!

Cardinals Outside the Classroom
Rising junior Declan Reidy and senior Cam Kerbl recently participated in the Prep Baseball Report Alabama State Games, a prestigious invite-only event that brings together some of the state's top underclass baseball talent.
Held June 16–17, the two-day showcase serves as an important opportunity for high school players to demonstrate their skills in front of college recruiters and professional scouts while competing alongside some of Alabama's best athletes. The event is considered a key evaluation stop in the long-term development and recruiting process for players across the state.
We love seeing Cardinals representing St. Michael at the highest levels and wish Declan and Cam continued success on and off the field!

Cardinals Outside the Classroom
These rising juniors—Zach Buss, Cohen Dyche, Declan Reidy, and Marshall Pitre—enjoyed a team meal together after competing in a tournament with the Tampa-based Top Tier National team during the first weekend of June.
The four Cardinals are spending part of their summer sharpening their skills on the diamond, competing alongside talented players from across the region while representing St. Michael wherever they go.
We love seeing Cardinals building friendships, competing at a high level, and making memories both on and off the field!

Cardinals Outside the Classroom
Rising senior Sarah Musselman recently traveled to Washington, D.C., with her mother, Lisa, and sister, Sophie ('25), to attend the 11th Annual Elizabeth Dole Foundation Convening. Along the way, they toured the nation's capital, visited monuments, and accompanied Lisa to legislative meetings on Capitol Hill.
Sarah and Sophie were also welcomed as members of the Hidden Helpers Advisory Council, which supports children who help care for disabled veterans. We're proud to see Cardinals making a difference and lending their voices to such an important cause!
You can read more about the important work of this organization, and Lisa in particular, in an op-ed she wrote that was recently published on al.com:
