Our Pre-K4 & Kindergarten classes had the best time at Maynard Family Farm! 🐷🐐🐴💛

The kids got to learn all about the animals, explore the farm, and have SO much fun while doing it! We love getting to take learning outside of the classroom and watching them experience new things together.

Such a fun day with our sweet friends! 🌾🐓🍂

One of our favorite sounds at The Learning Tree is little voices singing about a big God. 💙

Music and chapel are back, and we love watching our children learn that worship can be joyful, wiggly, loud, and full of wonder! These sweet moments are part of how we’re planting seeds of faith and learning in every child. 🌱

Little voices, big prayers. ❤️

This morning, our Learning Tree friends gathered around the flagpole for See You at the Pole. We prayed for our families, our friends, our teachers, and our community. What a sweet reminder that children are never too little to talk to God.

Fall is in the air…or at least in our art centers! 🍂🎨

Our little artists have been busy snipping, painting, stamping, and creating with all the colors and textures of the season. These sweet projects build fine-motor skills, encourage creativity, and give every child a chance to create something uniquely their own.

The calendar may say fall…. even if Fairhope still feels a little like summer! 🧡🍁

Applications are officially open! 🌳

The Learning Tree at First Fairhope is seeking an Assistant Director to join our leadership team.

Our Assistant Director will work closely with the Director to support daily preschool operations, encourage and equip our teachers, communicate with families, and our Parent Teacher Partnership, and help ensure TLT remains a safe, loving, Christ-centered place for every child to learn and grow.

We’re looking for someone who:

💙 Loves Jesus, children, teachers, and families
🌳 Leads with confidence, kindness, and grace
💙 Is organized, dependable, proactive, and calm under pressure
🌳 Works well as part of a team
💙 Is passionate about early childhood education and ministry

Well…at The Learning Tree, this is what “passing the baton” looks like! 😂💙

We recently shared this update with our TLT families, and now we’re excited to share it with all of you.

Beginning in January, my role will shift to focus more fully on our Wee Kids ministry, and Sarah Jean Warfield will step into the role of Director of The Learning Tree and take over the day-to-day leadership of TLT.

Sarah Jean already plays such an important part in the daily life of The Learning Tree. She knows our program and families so well, loves our teachers and children, and shares the heart behind what makes TLT such a special place. I have complete confidence in her leadership and am so excited to see her make this role her own.

And don’t worry—I’m not going anywhere! My role at TLT will look a little different, but I’ll remain connected to our teachers, children, and families. My office is still right next door, after all! 😉

The Learning Tree has been such a huge part of my heart and ministry, and that isn’t changing. I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity to continue serving our preschoolers and families in this new role, and I’m genuinely excited about what’s ahead for TLT with Sarah Jean leading the way. 💙

Yesterday was extra sweet at The Learning Tree! 💙 From sharing pie to big hugs and sweet conversations, Goodies with Grands reminded us what a gift it is to have special people who love our children so well.

Thank you to every grandparent, parent, and grand-person who joined us. These are the sweet memories we’ll treasure! 🥧
