Since the weather has been either very hot or rainy so for the first couple of weeks, PE has been held in the gym. BUT- that doesn’t mean it hasn’t been fun! Thanks to Coach Hutchins for capturing all the activities!

Mrs. Johnson 5th grade is Learning the law of gravity! Today we did an experiment to prove, “An object’s mass has no effect on it’s acceleration due to gravity in freefall.” (Depending on air resistance).

Our first week of Special Treat went well! Kids were excited to try the new flavors.

REMINDERS:

-Can only be purchased on My School Bucks account.

-Offered only once a week and is optional.

-Please purchase by Sunday evenings for your student to be included in the special treat order for that week.

-Can only purchase by the whole month. If you miss the first week & still want in for the remaining weeks in that month, the full monthly amount is due.

-All items are Smart Snack approved.

Today our STEAM classes enjoyed some time in the garden as citizen scientists in the Great Southeastern Pollinator Census. Shout out to our Master Gardeners who are always working with us to help us learn.

We are so thankful for 3 mil funding that supports our STEAM enrichment class and experiences such as this one. The students learned so much!
