Just like that, week two has come to an end. It's so hard to say goodbye to all of these great campers every week. We've thoroughly enjoyed watching each student's take on the projects presented to them. We hope they build on the techniques they learned this week and feel even more equipped to express their creativity everyday.

We had a great first week of camp! Here's a snippet of some of the activities that kept us busy. We are looking forward to what next week has in store for our week 2 group.
Ms. Krysta picked such a fun end-of-year field trip for our school. She gave the students a nature passport at the beginning of school, which they filled throughout the year on their nature outings. During this trip, they turned in their passports to the office and received some cool prizes. A fun day was had by all!
Who says lunchtime doesn't promote good posture, balance, and concentration??? Let's make it a happy Monday everybody!
Happy Mother's Day! We know our students were so proud to give these beautiful gifts this morning. Ms. Kiki has a knack for guiding our little artists down the path of creative expression, and wow what a breathtaking keepsake.
Our potters are putting some finishing touches on these top-secret Mother's Day gifts (look away mommas). Will they be able to resist giving them before Sunday? Time will tell. We know mom will cherish this hand made artwork foreverš©·
A 300 piece puzzle is not something this age group would typically choose, but why shy away from a challenge? This is a lunchtime project they can work on when they've finished eating, that has been in the works since March. They are so thrilled with completing this puzzle and are already planning the next one. Shall we go for 500?
The weather gave us a moody and somewhat relaxed recess. Just chillin' with our buddies and learning some lessons about predatory birds. You can learn something new from every situation.

These kids practiced teamwork today and made good use of their time at the fort. It was a bit warmer than we've been accustomed to, so nobody complained when it was time to clock out for lunch. This is a sure-fire way to work up their appetite.
