⭐️Young Pre-K Spotlight⭐️

Young Pre-K has had a busy morning learning, exploring, and having fun! Take a peek at what they’ve been up to today:

Coffee Filter Experiment

Today our YPK friends got to explore color and creativity with a fun coffee filter experiment! They colored their filters, added water, and watched as the colors spread and blended together. This hands-on activity encouraged creativity while helping them explore the physical properties of materials. 💧🌈

Outdoor Adventures

Nothing beats a little fresh air and playground fun on this beautiful day! Our YPK friends had the best time running, climbing, exploring, and enjoying some outdoor play together. ☀️💛

⭐️Teacher Tuesday⭐️

This week’s spotlight: Mrs. Lara!

Mrs. Lara is our wonderful PreK lead. Lara has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in Early Childhood Education. She has spent over 12 years working in the childcare and early childhood education field.

“I have always had a passion for working with children and families and love creating a positive, welcoming environment where children can learn, grow, and feel loved and supported. I also enjoy building strong relationships with families and being someone they can depend on.”

A few fun facts:
* Married to her husband Tyler for almost 12 years
* Proud mom of 2 boys
* A huge Alabama fan
* Loves spending time with her family
* Enjoys decorating, traveling, and finding new fun things to do with her boys!

We are so thankful for Lara’s dedication! ⭐️❤️
