Really enjoyed coaching our first academy futsal team this past weekend. So nice to have players that genuinely want to learn the movements and spacing that make futsal so much fun to watch. This past weekend was only an introduction, so much more to add, but in a couple of sessions and 4 games in the tournament, these amazing 2014 boys caught on very quickly to some new stuff. 2-2 morphing into 3-1, weak side center show, pass and block, even introduced the famous Keith Tozer diagonal run…. thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to next time.
