What’s old is new again! 🎭🎶

Today, a beloved FCDS tradition made its triumphant return. Thanks to the efforts of Mr. Morse and Mrs. Balocca, the end-of-year Variety Show was back—and it did not disappoint.

With ninth grade students hosting, boys from every grade took the stage to share their talents, entertaining the crowd with magic tricks, juggling, piano performances, pancake tossing, karaoke, athletic skills, and much more.

The afternoon concluded with an incredible performance by The Blue Door, an FCDS band featuring Mr. Connor, Ms. Kremin, eighth graders Halsey S. and Finn S., seventh grader Beecher G., and alumnus Bobby M. ’19. Their set included special musical tributes honoring retiring faculty members, Mr. Fallon and Mrs. Franklin.

What a memorable way to celebrate the final full day of the school year and the many talents that make the FCDS community so special. 💙

FCDS’s 89th Commencement will take place this Wednesday, June 3, and the Class of 2026 is preparing to take the next step in their journey. Next year, these young men will attend an impressive group of secondary schools, carrying with them the knowledge, confidence, and character they have developed at FCDS.

As they prepare to leave FCDS, we celebrate the friendships, accomplishments, and memories they have created along the way. We are incredibly proud of the young men they have become and look forward to seeing all they will achieve as they embark on this exciting new chapter.

Blue vs White ~ Field Day at FCDS ☀️🏃‍♂️💦

Today, our campus was filled with school spirit, friendly competition, and nonstop energy as students teamed up for one of the most anticipated days of the year — Field Day!

From relay races, obstacle courses, protect the castle, and water games to the grand finale tug-of-war, the boys gave it their all while cheering each other on every step of the way.

One of the biggest highlights of the day? The dunk tank! Several teachers bravely took a seat above the water while students lined up for their chance to make a splash. Safe to say, there were plenty of laughs (and plenty of soaked faculty members). 😄

And to top it all off, the boys enjoyed an early lunch from the famous Super Duper We**ie ( ) food truck — the perfect Field Day treat!

More than just competition, Field Day is a celebration of teamwork, sportsmanship, and the joy of being together as a school community! 💙
