Mechanical engineering major Emily Alfonso-Olmos ’27 and physics major Ethan Chow ’27 have been awarded a scholarship from the Barry Goldwater Scholarship Foundation, a highly competitive national honor in science, engineering, and mathematics. The program identifies students with strong potential for research careers and future leadership in STEM. Their recognition reflects Fairfield University’s continued commitment to undergraduate research and academic excellence. Both are preparing for future doctoral study and careers in scientific research.
