It just humbles me about what people with disabilities must go through on a regular basis. I hear you, I see you, I value you and I appreciate you. Please know you are loved 💗even if some people can’t be kind humans!

Hi everyone! I thought I would re-introduce myself because I have gotten a lot more followers! 🥳 Also, I know I am a little late but had to jump on the band wagon of the cartoon me! 🤣

My name is Amber Busay and I am the owner of AB Behavior & Consulting! We strive to provide services to those in the special needs community that promote inclusion, collaboration, safety, and independence!

Please join the Solano County SELPA for a presentation on All You Need to Know About Kindergarten Transitions.

Description: This training is designed to guide parents through the matriculation meeting process for kindergarten and provide a clear understanding of what to expect. The training focuses on identifying the necessary supports to ensure a smooth transition into kindergarten, allowing children to thrive and maximize inclusion with necessary accommodations and modifications. Additionally, the session will help parents comprehend how assessments and data are used to make informed placement decisions, all while adhering to the principles of IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) requirements. We understand that this can be an emotional time for parents, and our goal is to alleviate any stress or uncertainty, helping you feel at ease as your child reaches this important milestone.

Únase al SELPA del condado de Solano para una presentación sobre Todo lo que Necesita Saber Sobre la Transicion al Kinder.

Descripcion:Esta capacitación está diseñada para guiar a los padres a través del proceso de la reunión de matriculación para el kínder y brindar una comprensión clara de qué esperar. La capacitación se enfoca en identificar los apoyos necesarios para asegurar una transición fluida al kínder, permitiendo que los niños prosperen y maximicen su inclusión con las adaptaciones y modificaciones necesarias. Además, la sesión ayudará a los padres a comprender cómo se utilizan las evaluaciones y los datos para tomar decisiones informadas sobre la colocación, todo mientras se respetan los principios de IDEA (Ley de Educación para Individuos con Discapacidades) y los requisitos del Entorno Menos Restrictivo (LRE). Entendemos que este puede ser un momento emocional para los padres, y nuestro objetivo es aliviar cualquier estrés o incertidumbre, ayudándoles a sentirse tranquilos mientras su hijo/a alcanza esta importante etapa.
