The Car Seat Crew The Car Seat Crew LLC educates parents & caregivers how to select, install and properly use their ch We come to you!

The Car Seat Crew was founded by Nick Aysseh, a CPST Instructor and parent himself, in order to give parents and caregivers in lower Fairfield County another option for having their car seats checked. Many police and fire departments offer this service for free, but require you to go to them at a specific appointment time which usually lasts 15-30 minutes. We are also here to help parents select the right seat for their vehicle. The right seat is the one that fits in your vehicle and fits your child properly so it can be used correctly each and every time. The Car Seat Crew appointments are approximately one hour long at a time and place that is convenient for you. We will educate you not only on how to install your seat but also how to properly secure your child each and every time the seat is used. We will go over other important safety topics related to your precious cargo. We will take the time to make sure that you feel completely comfortable installing and using your car seat. When you travel to us in Fairfield, CT:
$70 for the first seat in each vehicle
$40 for each additional seat in the same vehicle

When we travel to you*:
$100 for the first seat in each vehicle
$50 for each additional seat in the same vehicle

***Diono Booster Recall***

NHTSA Recall ID Number : 21C002

Synopsis : Diono is recalling certain Cambria 2 Booster Seats model numbers 31200-US-01, 31201-US-01, and 31202-US-01. In the event of a crash, a crack between the headrest and backrest can occur, allowing the headrest to seperate. As such, these seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems." A broken or separated headrest increases the risk of injury during a crash. Diono will notify owners and will provide a replacement backrest with headrest assembly, free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin March 31, 2021. Owners may contact Diono customer service at 1-855-463-4666

The affected child safety seats have a center tab on the chest clip marked "ABS" that may break. The broken tab may present a choking hazard to an infant in the car seat, increasing the risk of injury. Britax will notify owners and will provide a replacement chest clip marked "PC", free of charge. The recall is expected to begin June 21, 2017.
