Mountain Workshop

Mountain Workshop is looking for motivated individuals for our fall season of programs. This fall we will facilitate programming for over 5,000 students, faculty and school administrators focused on a variety of goals and objectives including:

• Teamwork and Group Problem Solving
• Communication/Listening Skills
• Building Quality Relationships
• Empathy and the Importance of Community
• Improving School Climate
• Leadership Skills
• Social Emotional Learning

Interested parties will be trained to facilitate MW programs and gain invaluable information around school climate, adventure and experiential education activities.

If your looking for a short-term employment opportunity, a retired teacher looking to keep active in education or an empty nester looking to make a difference in todays youth, apply to work with Mountain Workshop this fall season.

Getting ready for a busy schedule next week with a Friday afternoon regroup at our Fairfield, CT warehouse. It was another great week outdoors despite a “bit” of rain. Thank you to Whitby School - Greenwich, CT, Ridgefield Public Schools, Ridgefield Academy, and NYC PS-11, Clinton Hill for your support and tremendous energy! And thank you to our Mountain Workshop team members for their continued commitment and tremendous efforts so far this season!

We are back on the water! Thank you Harbor Country Day School for a great week of boating and camping!

We were back outside last week with Harbor Country Day School! Great students, beautiful weather and tired staff! Good to be back!

With all boats winterized and stored until next year, we will conjure up our vivid memories to keep us warm until spring...
