SHU Sports Management Club

Hey guys,

We are going to have a meeting this Monday, March 16th at 8 pm regarding our Fundraiser with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Dan Tamburro from the Sound Tigers is going to talk to everyone about the fundraiser. Each student who shows up to the meeting and is interested in participating will most likely receive five to ten tickets to sell to any of your friends and family to be handed in after Easter Break. Then we will all attend the game as a club. If you cannot attend this meeting, let me know and I can always give you the tickets at another time if you are interested in participating. Welcome back! Hope everyone enjoyed their winter break! The connection carnival is going to be held tomorrow, January 23rd from 4-7 pm. This is a major event to introduce all of the ways you can get involved on campus. Our club will have a table and we need at least two members to be standing at the table 3-8 pm. Come and see what we're about!

If you can't make the carnival, come to our first meeting on January 27th at 8 pm. Our advisor, Professor Santomier, is back. He will discussing what you can do within your sport management major. This will help you guys figure out what career path you would like to take. I will let you know the location as soon as it is approved.
