Justin Lau

Next year: I plan to attend a four-year college to major in computer science. Career goal: My goal is to earn enough money to repay my parents for everything they’ve done for me and to travel the world. Highlights: During high school, I was a 4-year basketball player, served as ASB Vice President, and was an International Baccalaureate Candidate. In 10 years: I hope to work at a major tech company.

Dildeep Singh

Next year: I plan to attend Diablo Valley College for 2 years and then transfer to a 4-year university. Career goal: I aim to finish high school with straight A’s and pursue my major in mechanical engineering. Highlights: During high school, I played basketball for four years—three years on JV and one year on Varsity. In 10 years: I hope to work for a big car company and earn a lot of money.

Miranda Meyer

Next year: I plan to find a job and consider attending college. I’m open to various opportunities in the workforce while figuring out which path to take in the long term. Career goal: I aim to secure a stable job. Highlights: My proudest achievements include earning straight A’s throughout my academic career and consistently submitting well-written essays. I’ve also worked on thorough and detailed projects. In 10 years: In 10 years, I hope to have a job with flexible hours that allows me to pursue various hobbies and interests. I also want to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Rylyn Castisimo

Next year: I plan to attend a 4-year college to study finance. I am considering becoming a news editor for the college newspaper and joining some campus organizations. Career goal: My goal is to work in the finance sector, potentially in banking. I enjoy numbers and financial analysis, so this career path suits my interests. Highlights: My favorite high school memories include being the School News Editor and serving as the National Honors Society Treasurer. In 10 years: In 10 years, I see myself working in a job related to banking or finance. I plan to build a stable career and eventually manage my own team.

Zosia Cooper

Next year: I plan on attending the University of San Francisco to major in Psychology and minor in Legal Studies. I look forward to exploring the city and the campus. Career goal: I aspire to become a lawyer, focusing on social justice and civil rights. I aim to make a positive impact through my work in the legal field. Highlights: I’ve been the ASB Student Relations Officer, and a four-year varsity volleyball player, which has been a significant highlight of my high school years. Scholarships, awards: No notable scholarships or awards at the moment. In 10 years: I see myself having completed law school and working as a lawyer. I aim to have a fulfilling career while balancing my personal life with family and friends.

Next year: I plan to get my phlebotomy license and find a place to work. Career goal: My goal is to get a job and keep it. Highlights: Straight A’s, thoughtful essays, and detailed art projects. Scholarships and Awards: None. In 10 years: I see myself as a phlebotomist with good work benefits.

Ricky Clemons

Next year: I plan to attend UC Davis and major in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology. Career goal: To become a Wildlife Biologist, Ecologist, or Wildlife Veterinarian. Highlights: Hanging out with friends, meeting new people, getting more involved in school events and activities, and gaining useful experience for college. Scholarships and Awards: None. In 10 years: I see myself starting work in the field or with an organization like the National Park Service.

Miranda Rodriguez

Next year: I will be attending the University of California, Davis, majoring in Chemical Engineering. Career goal: To work in a high-paying industry (oil, gas, or medicine) and ultimately create my own company related to chemical engineering or medicine. Highlights: Being Britney Spears in the Senior Homecoming Skits, winning Senior Homecoming Princess, and being a freshman on Varsity soccer, eventually becoming captain in her junior and senior years. Scholarships and Awards: California Girls and Boys State Alumni. In 10 years: I see myself successful, beginning my family, and working hard for my future goals.

Jackson Harrington

Next year: I plan to attend UCLA. Career goal: To become a lawyer. Highlights: Playing soccer, getting good grades, and participating in student leadership. Scholarships and Awards: MEL first team and Highest Honors. In 10 years: I see myself working as a lawyer at a firm.

Jesus Arellano Perez

Next year: I plan to attend UC Davis and start my college career. I also plan to get a job and begin saving money for my future. Career goal: To work in the medical field, with the goal of becoming a surgeon specializing in neurosurgery, or possibly a dentist. Highlights: Going on field trips with AVID, having great teachers who made connections with students, and enjoying after-school events. Scholarships, Awards: Awards - Highest Honor. In 10 years: I see myself working in a hospital as a surgeon and studying under a neurosurgery specialist, while maintaining a stable life outside of work with a family and a house.

Gabriel Cruz

Next year: I plan to go to Solano Community College, then transfer to a UC, majoring in Sociology. Career goal: Undecided, but interested in sociology and psychology. Highlights: 100+ Hours of community service, Principal’s Honor Roll, Rotary Good Character Award, Senior Class Treasurer, employed at Pacific Edge Sports Academy since Junior Year. Scholarships and Awards: Principal’s Honor Roll, Rotary Club Good Character Award, Applied for several scholarships. In 10 years: I see myself with a happy family while working in a field related to sociology or psychology, with enough money to live comfortably and occasionally go on vacation.

Sunmukh Kaloty

Next year: I plan to attend Solano Community College. Career goal: Developing new skills and gaining different types of experiences. Highlights: Going to Homecoming, attending school games, and making friends. Scholarships and Awards: Work Ready Certificate. In 10 years: I see myself buying a new house and having a stable job in the next 10 years.

Julie Zhang

Next year: I will be attending UC Davis to study Biomedical Engineering. Career goal: I aim to become a mechanical engineer specializing in medical devices. Highlights: I am an IB diploma candidate and the treasurer of the Future Medical Professional club. I was also a member of the National Honor Society and the Theater Club. I served as a salutatorian and played golf. Scholarships, awards: None mentioned. In 10 years: I see myself living with 8 pet hamsters and a small family in a lovely home, traveling the world, and tasting all the delicacies I want.

Jesus Agredano

Next year: I plan to attend college, though I haven’t decided which one. I dream of pursuing a degree in civil engineering. Career goal: My career goal is to become a civil engineer and hopefully find a job in that field. Highlights: I enjoyed being a part of the Armijo Theater Program and performing for my peers. I was the Vice President of the Art Club and cherished time spent with my best friend. Scholarships, awards: Boys and Girls State Allium. In 10 years: I hope to have a stable job earning a good living, with plenty of loved ones by my side.

Rianna Samson

Next year: I plan to attend UC Berkeley to study Genetics and Plant Biology, uncovering the mystery of genes through valuable research and experiences. Career goal: I aspire to become a genetic engineer and contribute to sustainable food production. Highlights: I enjoyed leading and transforming the school’s Future Medical Professionals Club and spending time with unforgettable friends. I also received the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award. Scholarships, awards: Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award. In 10 years: I hope to have a gratifying career in food science and financially support my parents in the same way they’ve supported me.

Jazlyn Basa

Next year: I will be attending Sac State for the next 4 years. Career goal: I plan to become a Radiologic Technician specializing in Nuclear Medicine. Highlights: Spending time with friends and making new memories. Scholarships, awards: None mentioned. In 10 years: I see myself starting a family and having a financially stable lifestyle as a Radiologic Technician.

Lilian Luu

Next year: I plan to attend Solano Community College because it is convenient for me. I hope to find a job after I figure out my schedule. Career goal: I am considering architecture, but I’m not sure yet. If not that, then maybe something in psychology. Highlights: I currently have the second fastest girl’s 1600m record at Armijo with a time of 5:20. I made it to cross country sections twice and masters for track during my junior year. I also won hoopcoming queen in February. Scholarships, awards: I received MVP awards several times from my running seasons. In 10 years: I hope to find myself stable and balancing work with enjoyment. I want to have strong connections with certain people by then. I would probably have a cat, too.

Hannah Peña

Next year: I plan to attend San Diego State to study Criminal Justice. Career goal: I aspire to become a lawyer, specifically for those who have been wrongfully accused. Highlights: I have been in the IB program since my freshman year, maintaining a high GPA throughout high school. I was a member of NHS for two years and joined the international club for one year. Scholarships, awards: None mentioned. In 10 years: I see myself as a starting lawyer, helping defend clients and winning court cases. I hope to have accomplished many of my goals and to be enjoying life.

Benji Tooley

Next year: I plan to attend UCLA to study Business-Economics. Career goal: I hope to work in accounting or finance management. Highlights: I played soccer from sophomore to senior year, and made it to the diving state finals in my sophomore and junior year. In 10 years: I hope to be working in an accounting firm and living in a city.

Adriana Becerril

Next year: I plan to attend St. Mary’s College and major in health science. I was selected for the honors program and received a 4-year merit-based Presidential Scholarship. Career goal: I aim to become a pediatric dentist, eventually opening my own dental office while staying close to my family. Highlights: Meeting my friend Ashai, participating in school events like powderpuff and banda night, and enjoying homecoming season. Scholarships, awards: Presidential Scholarship, honors program. In 10 years: I see myself running my dental office, pursuing my career, and spending time with my family. Leslie Silva

Next year: I plan to attend UC Berkeley, studying Nutritional Sciences - Physiology and Metabolism at the Rausser College of Natural Resources, following a pre-med path. Career goal: I aim to become a pediatrician. Highlights: Being elected ASB Secretary, running school events like A-Team, Tailgate, Deck the Halls, Fashion Show, and Banda Night, competing in Girls Golf Sections, and being elected Homecoming Queen. Scholarships, awards: Girls Soccer Captain and MVP, Badminton Captain, Girls Golf Captain, ASB Secretary. In 10 years: I see myself starting my career as a doctor and becoming part of the medical field.

Mackenzie Ashby

Next year: I plan to attend Solano Community College to learn more about art and stagecraft. Career goal: I aim to create theatrical props and sets while doing art on the side. Highlights: The best part of high school was my art classes and theater club at Armijo. I also earned a theatre diploma this year for my work in Armijo Theatre Productions. Scholarships, awards: Theatre diploma. In 10 years: I see myself as more informed, surrounded by people passionate about art and theater, and enjoying my career.

Raphael Ramos

Next year: I plan to join the US Air Force Reserves and study to become a nurse. Career goal: I aim to be a nurse, possibly while serving in the reserves. Highlights: My best high school moments involved spending time with friends, attending different types of events like homecoming, and enjoying theatre shows. Scholarships, awards: None. In 10 years: I see myself as a nurse, possibly still serving in the reserves.

Vanessa Molina Martinez

Next year: I plan to study Global Studies at UC Berkeley. Career goal: I hope to become an immigration lawyer. Highlights: I enjoyed participating in Armijo Theatre Productions and taking IB classes, especially Math AA HL with Stenger. Scholarships, awards: None yet, although I’m a finalist for some scholarships. In 10 years: I hope to have finished Law School, be preparing to become an immigration lawyer, and be living in San Francisco or Sacramento.

Mary Bonaime

Next year: I plan to do well at Sac State, spend more time on hobbies like art and music, and get a job to support myself financially. Career goal: I am not sure yet, but I hope to work in software or app development. Highlights: My high school highlights include the anticipation and excitement leading up to a theatre show night and the applause at the end of the performances. Competing in band competitions and then having fun afterward with friends was also enjoyable. Scholarships, awards: None yet, though I applied for some. In 10 years: I hope to have a stable job that I enjoy, while also spending time with friends and family. I also hope to have time to dedicate to my hobbies.

Jordan Huynh

Next year: I plan to attend community college for two years or more. Career goal: I aim to become a marketing/sales consultant. Highlights: Joining clubs like Skate4Change, Ping Pong Club, Chess Club, and participating in extracurricular activities. Scholarships, awards: Perfect attendance, Honor Roll, Principal Honor Roll (4.0 GPA), and various class awards for subjects like math, science, and history. In 10 years: I see myself becoming a self-made millionaire.

Carmen Gonzalez

Next year: I plan to attend the Joshua Wilderness Institute or Cal Poly SLO, exploring different career paths. Career goal: I aim to become a lawyer or detective. Highlights: My high school highlights include leading popcorn fights and creating memorable bonds with teachers and friends, sharing in various fun moments and events. Scholarships, awards: None. In 10 years: I prefer to live in the present without worrying too much about the future.

Kessia Lopez Molina

Next year: I plan to attend university in Mexico. Career goal: I aim to become an architect. I didn’t have to take the admission test because I was accepted due to my GPA. Highlights: I appreciated the patience and kindness of people when I needed help with the language, and enjoyed joining the basketball team when I didn’t know how to play or speak English. Scholarships, awards: I received the Mamba Award in my first year of basketball and was selected to go to Camp Venture. In 10 years: I see myself happy, with a stable job I love, having many friends, and at least one dog.

Paolo Kenji Misenas

Next year: I plan to prioritize college. Career goal: I hope to become a Med Tech. Highlights: I enjoyed meeting new friends and learning from the best teachers. Scholarships, awards: N/A. In 10 years: I hope to own a restaurant.

Please join us for an extra meeting on January 22 at the Armijo Library for a special crab feed discussion!

We need help planning this event and the Grad Nite Event in June. We desperately need help in order for these events to carry on. The more parents that attend and help the more we can accomplish together!

This event is a perfect opportunity for an early valentines dinner with your loved ones or bid on our silent and dessert auction for great valentines gifts!

There will be great food, silent auctions, and most importantly we will be raising money for the graduating Class of 2024 to celebrate in a safe and fun way!
